Vanish Crystal White is a product built on the promise of keeping whites brighter for longer. Within this promise, I saw an opportunity to address a larger social issue.

​

In India, most schools have white uniforms, introduced with the intent of making all students feel equal, regardless of their economic background. But over time, this very symbol of equality has become a marker of disparity.

​

For well-to-do families, replacing uniforms every year is simple. For others, it isn’t. As whites gradually yellow with repeated use, many children stand out, not for their abilities, but for their worn-out uniforms. This often leads to subtle discrimination, and in some cases, fewer opportunities.

​

To make a difference, we created a value pack of Vanish Crystal White, making it more affordable and accessible, so every child could wear their whites with pride. But before driving change, it was important to first highlight the problem with enough impact.

​

That’s how this film was born, a story that not only shed light on the issue, but also helped change the lives of countless children facing discrimination in schools across India.
